Three of four of my dogs were entered; two in Rally and one in Obedience. Angel and Sunny both qualified and got legs towards their titles. Pogo improved greatly but was just short of qualifying.
So far so good. I have been incredibly busy with my dogs, my husband, and my life. I am spending lots of time with the Canine Americans and am going to two classes a week with them. Sometimes I wonder how I had time to work! My little rescue dog Sunny is becoming a really great Rally dog. Her confidence is growing by the day and in her first show she scored 96/100 pts under a really tough judge.
This is my Golden Retriever Angel aka Windmere's I'm No Angel CD BN RAE. She is the matriarch of my little pack and turned 15 years old on June 15. She is smart and sweet and determined and has been this way since we brought her home all those years ago. She hasn't had it easy. She lost her two German Shepherd brothers, Baron when she was 2, and Major four years ago. She's helped us raise 4 puppies and welcomed our last rescue who was 1 1/2 when we brought her home. She is a cancer survivor who lost part of her lower jaw to the disease at twelve, bouncing back to get her last obedience title just months later. She retired from the Rally ring at 12 halfway to her RAE 2 due to a depth perception problem, but even now makes appearances in class for fun. She is a little slower now, due to age and 2 bouts of vestibular disease, but is still the first in line for cookies and cuddles.
